Applebee's Grill + Bar

I have been to a lot of applebee's restaurants and worked there when I was younger. The manager at this store obviously knows what hes doing when he is hiring people. Every time I have been in their the service is absolutely excellent. They bring you drinks right on time and not to quick so that you have a 1/2 full Dr Pepper and another full Dr pepper sitting on the table with the ice melting in it. Right as you're about to finish your Dr Pepper they bring you a new and right to the table… perfect timing every time. They are always yes sir and no sir and speak clearly without mumbling. The food is good and clean. The floors and the seats are always clean. The him plays are always very professionally dressed and clean also. Keep up the good work guys and gals!

There are so much competition in the space of your middle tier family restaurants. It appears that Applebee's has been falling behind for quite some time. Though the restaurants decor has been upgraded, the value is not there with the serving sizes and food quality compared to other choices. Example, ordered an 8oz. steak with onions, mushrooms and red potatoes.
Steak was prepared average at best, small skillet with a few onions buried underneath the steak and a few dried up red potatoes on the side. No mushrooms... Had to ask. I'm not trying to be overly critical but for a $16 plate just not what I expected. Was I thinking five star restaurant style, no, but definitely better than what was presented. My wife had a chicken salad that was also pretty average, not a lot of chicken for sure. Well, we had received a gift card so we thought we'd give it a shot.
The server was nice and attentive.
It's the menu, quality and serving sizes that are in need of an upgrade.

Got a DoorDash order and forgot to get a drink. Called and the guys gave me one on the house! Food was very well prepared for travel. This is becoming one of my favorite Applebee’s of all time!

Fast service, food is always good and friendly staff. Lake Worth store is good too, I go to both. Love both locations, never had a bad experience with either places and I order once or twice a week too.
