RA Sushi Bar Restaurant

Background: When I was in college I would go to the RA sushi in Tustin, CA with friends and take advantage of the happy hour sake and cheap rolls.

Food:
I ordered some Happy Hour fare and thought it was on par with supermarket sushi. That's not a put down, it's just not anything that would stand out.

Decor:
They also have a huge picture of a scantily clad geisha, which I thought was rather tasteless.

Staff:
The staff was friendly and attentive, but it wasn't very busy when I was there.

Bottom line:
It's like an Japanese restaurant equivalent of an Olive Garden. It'll take care of a craving in a pinch or provide a suitable meeting place, but if you want authentic, I would recommend other places.

Good quality fish for what you're paying. Amanda was great, wonder where Paige is @ cause she always takes awesome care of us but Amanda still did a good job.

I love the poke bowls! It's a great place to meet friends for dinner. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff are friendly. Gotta love the sushi chefs!!

Ate there this evening and it was the fastest service ever!! Sat down ordered and received our food and drinks within 5 minutes tops!! Amazing!!! Highly recommended!!

Excellent place for happy hour and delicious sushi-grade fish. Lots of delicious Japanese dishes. The service can be a little slow since it’s not considered fine dining or a high class restaurant. The food is worth the wait - if you make all your order at once then you will be much happier since you don’t have to wait on the table staff to come around and help you.
