Stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday, got the Mertopolantin Cobb bowl and my husband got the Pacific Beach zeppelin. My salad was okay. I didn't care for the chicken. It was dry and bland. But everything else was good. Next time, I'll definitely get a different salad. My husband loved his sandwich. He said the bread was the best part. The sandwich didn't get soggy from the dressing, he also thought it was very filling. They also have a nice selection of dressings to choose from.
Price is kinda high but the portions are nice. You get what you pay for. The line was long and extremely slow so expect to wait a while.
Bread Zeppelin is an experience of its own! Far from just a witty, puny name, the food here is fresh and absolutely delicious. I usually get a zeppelin for lunch, because one is quite filling. I also usually get a cup of soup, my favorites being the potato leek and the broccoli cheddar. Be sure to ask for the baguette guts to eat with the soup, it's excellent!
Bread Zeppelin is a pretty cool alternative to Subway or other sub places. They basically make a salad, hollow out a loaf of bread, and shove the salad into the loaf. You can either get a salad or have your salad made into one of these unique Zeppelins. My only complaints are that they can be somewhat slow due to the process of making the Zeppelin, and they are a little pricey. It's still a great option for a pretty healthy meal.
Great first experience. They have plenty of seating inside and outside. The food is great! The Zeppelin is a must try. It's basically a salad inside a warm hollowed out piece of bread. I'm excited to come back!
