The Toasted Yolk Cafe- Southlake

Upside: my server Tim was on top of things which is critical at breakfast, strong coffee, WiFi if you need a remote place to work over bfast, nice building with lots of seating and a covered outdoor patio. Downside: the acoustics aren’t great so it was loud, food was decent but nothing remarkable (though the table next to me had a huge portion of chicken fried something), the sun glares in so people on that side we’re wearing sunglasses inside, and fix the dang Fri t door so it doesn’t rattle for 10 seconds every time it opens.

We are always on the lookout for a good brunch place. I’m looking forward to bringing friends here. This is a good place with a cool vibe. Mimosas are 1/2 off on Fridays and my wife appreciated that. They will have a band on the patio soon. I like their diner bar. It’s great when breakfast restaurants have them. I really hope the management and staff continues in excellence.

Excellent, kind, hospitable, and attentive service with an atmosphere & menu that Southlake has been desiring for quite some time. Their self titled “Toasted Yolk” dish exceeds expectations while bringing something new to the table (pun intended). Super yummy, perfect date/brunch/lunch/meeting spot.

Wonderful first experience! Food was fantastic! Patio was nice. Everyone was very friendly. Prices were great! Taking a friend from Oklahoma there tomorrow for Brunch and we are so excited !

The brunch spot that Southlake NEEDED. Had the west coast arnold and can’t wait to have it again. Great coffee and Bloody Mary’s. If you work from home, definitely try the Toasted Yolk to get some work done and enjoy great food! 🤩
