“The food here is delicious! I have tried the tacos, gorditas, menudo, and the Birra tacos! Everything was soooo good and you get your money’s worth. If you want extra anything just ask and they will happily give you more. I’ve never had a problem, even with big orders. They are very nice and love their customers. Their food speaks for it self. Anyone that can cook like this creates special food that brings back memories! Every time I take a bite I’m reminded of home. Also, with COIVD and the pandemic don’t be quick to judge on 1 order. Your taste buds might be off wack! Everyone should come and enjoy the all the delicious flavors :)”

“Formerly the Dixie Cafe. Breakfast was ordered: 2 eggs over-med, 4 slices bacon, hash browns, 1 biscuit & gravy ($7.99 I think). All was very good. The place was fairly empty (8:30am on a Monday morning). Our server was excellent. Since there were just a few patrons she chatted a bit. Very friendly & helpful. Open 6:30am to 8:30pm. Some pretty good dinner specials too. I think on certain days chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken & 2 sides, $7.99. Also has a large selection of desserts as well. Would recommend.”

“SO GOOD!! Such a hidden gem in Fort Worth serving up easily the best seafood we’ve had here (and I’m from Maine). We already can’t wait to go back. Delicious PEI oysters, mussels, char & ceviche with an authentic and creative Latin twist. We were so impressed with how fresh and flavorful every bite was. Photos don’t do it justice. Go to La Onda - your dollars will be well spent.”

“friendly folk, beautiful patio, one of the best vegan spots in Fort Worth. i tried their fried oyster burger: bun - light, squishy, holds together v well. toasted to a light gold. squishes down nicely, so it's aesthetic value is replaced by function during the process of eating. crisp - mushrooms had a satisfying sound from bite and while chewing. really, if you're about texture this was a good experience. the mushrooms are generally good sizes, providing some hardiness. tarter sauce - tangy, complements with the pickles + herbs nicely. it was a good balance. i could imagine the sauce for dipping too, it had enough nuance i don't think i explored it all. the flavors and textures felt balanced, nothing taking too much attention.”

“When you want the absolute best tacos in DFW you go see Angel. This dude knows food, he’s super polite and down to earth and you can tell he loves what he does and takes pride in his work. He runs the thing all by himself which is amazing because most places have 2 minimum. There hasn’t been anything on the menu that hasn’t been delicious. They come out hot and quick. Everything is made to order so you know it’s fresh. This is the next big thing in FoWo and beyond so get here sooner than later and eat some of the best street tacos and more around. They are also closed on Sunday which I thought was awesome.”

“I'm inside the store right now writing this, and I have to say the atmosphere in here is perfect. There are chill oldies playing, the air is nice and cool, and the place is freshly wiped down. A massive thanks given to the team working here, they helped me figure out what sub was best for me and swiftly got me my sandwich. The drink selection is nice, from watermelon tea to vanilla cream soda. The sandwich selection is also quite clear cut and there is a little something for everyone. I'm definitely recommending this location to others and coming here often in the future!”

“First time visiting Twin Peaks and our experience was amazing. Our server, Mari, was so sweet and attentive. You definitely need more girls just like her. I ordered the salmon after giving her my short list of choices. It was every bit as good as she said it was. We will absolutely be back. I can't wait to try more dishes at Twin Peaks.”

“We had our office party at Hatchet House BBQue last night and we had a wonderful time. We were able to throw axes and sing Karaoke. The amazing waitress's kept the drinks flowing and made sure we didn't need for anything. We had a nacho bar and slider bar set up and the brisket slider was my favorite. We truly appreciate making our experience great.”

“I ate here with a few coworkers a few nights ago and had a great experience. I appreciated the fast, casual dine in atmosphere. You put in your order at the counter, then are given a number and food it brought to your table. Everything was out within 14 minutes. Pizza was fresh and yummy (ordered the Margherita) and they have a solid selection of beers on tap and in bottles. Discount the initial low reviews, as they are a new business and I'm sure going through some bumps with opening. Again, our experience was only positive! Can't wait to visit again!”

“My wife wanted tacos for her birthday and JJ's did not disappoint. We tried three different tacos, their shrimp pasta and cheese enchiladas. Everything was spot on perfect. Their margaritas were an excellent choice for birthday drinks. And the service was second to none. They have 6 different salsas and we're more than happy to let us try every one of them. Great food and great service. We will definitely be back.”

“Fantastic spot for the most important meal of the day, whether you are a family of 5 or a booze-hungry brunch duo. The restaurant is spacious, and the acoustics are great...even when full, it doesn't get too loud. The menu options have a fairly wide variety. I took a chance on the breakfast-stuffed avocado, and it did not disappoint. The hash browns were cooked perfectly...not too dry or greasy. The coffee was good...creamer options are limited and fairly basic, but they do the trick. Will definitely come back for a few more breakfasts.”

“I'm so grateful for this place. my diet is so strict due to allergies & I usually have to make everything at home myself. I've recently almost completely lost the use of both hands & this place has been such a blessing. their food tastes amazing! like real comfort food. the cornbread & hushpuppies are perfect. & the desserts are so good too.”
