Awesome, no-frills BBQ. Despite the pit being nowhere in sight, the all-wood decor should feel right at home for any BBQ restaurant veterans. The menu has all the staples (brisket, ribs, etc), and even ribeye for those wanting something a bit more. Both the turkey and sliced brisket were cooked perfectly, and came with a tangy BBQ sauce that complemented both. The okra and veggies were great sides, neither one overcooked. The potato salad was a bit unusual, being more mashed than usual, but still flavorful. All of this great food was complemented by the terrific servers, who kept our drinks full and offered great suggestions.
Great service, nice atmosphere. Ordered ribs, chopped brisket, and sausage. Sides of potato salad and green beans. Price was good.
Brisket and potato salad was great!
The ribs were decent, but was really disappointed in the green beans and sausage.
The green beans came out completely plain like they were just dumped out of a can by themselves with nothing added. Even lower end restaurants add something to season up the beans a bit.
The sausage was the real disappointment, very tough and tasteless. Gave a few of my friends at the table a couple pieces without saying anything, and they just kind of stared and said "that sausage is pretty bad".
According to reviews, they have amazing steak, so I should probably try that sometime, but for everything else I'll continue going to a different place.
Don't EVER judge a book by its cover because I had me the BEST steak I've EVER eaten here at this establishment. The right flavor and overall juicy. Cooked to perfection. The sides were also great. The basic potatoes they called it was very good. Friendly service as well, no matter what your race.
Cattle meeting in the corral room, good accommodations. Steaks were tender, just a little over seasoned for me. Salad was exceptional. Baked potatoes were huge, only took half. Corn dish was good except had way too much black pepper.
