Los Carnales Taco Shop

Today's stop:
Los Carnales taco shop. I did a review a few weeks ago when this shop first opened and it wasn't a good one.
So, I decided to stop in and give them a second chance. 😊 (I'm a fair travel reviewer)
When I arrived there were about 10 cars there. Got a parking spot right in front. Inside had a good number of patrons seated and they seemed to be enjoying their meals.
I couldn't decide what I wanted to eat and the guy in the front was super friendly and gave me ample time to decide my order.
I ordered an Iced tea a fajita quesadilla and fajita nachos. Yes, they have burritos, tacos, nachos, enchiladas and more on the menu.
I had a brief wait which was a definite improvement from the last time.
When I opened my bag, I got a bit worried as I found hair outside of my food box. (I mean benefit of the doubt, it could have been dried white cheese?) (My bag was tied when I got my order so, It's not mine) I opened my box and inspected my food, no visible hair inside. So that was good!! I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt as dried cheese and just ate. I mean you have to choose your battles wisely. Right! (Being a foodie/travel blogger, I am most certain I've eaten worse) 😉
The sweet tea was AMAZING! Yes it was really good and large. I personally like the quesadilla better than the nachos. Hot sauce was flavorful and picoso! Nice and spicy!
Overall this go round was a good one. They are definitely making positive progress.

Prices are good and portions are plentiful. I would certainly go back for that quesadilla.

Friendly service! Even when it was 4 minutes to closing. They didn't mind us dining in still. Food was great!

Breakfast tacos, chicken fajita plate and fresh guacamole are excellent and servings are very large. Good salsa also. Becoming one of our favorite restaurants.

So good! I had veggie tacos and they were amazing! The rice and beans were also so good. Will definitely be back!

This business is only about .25 miles from my own and I am all about supporting new locally owned businesses. This place is neat and clean in appearance and certainly will not disappoint you once you try their fare. It serves a limited menu (they serve breakfast and lunch only) but enough choices to satisfy most any palate. The beans and rice that they serve with the tacos is seasoned just right and quite tasty. The tacos themselves were fairly good size - in fact I was not even hungry for dinner. The owner came out to each table and spoke with the patrons to make sure that there were no problems and that we were enjoying the food. All in all, a very good experience. Thumbs up!
