“I really enjoy eating here occasionally. I love their fried rice, chicken, steak and scallops. I’m not a fan of their sushi. I do love their ginger sauce that you can ask for with your dish. I believe I enjoy this place a little bit more than Bonzai. Of course it is loaded with salt and butter and that is what makes it yummy but it is very heavy. I won’t eat here often because of how heavy the dishes can be but it is a good treat every once in a while.”

We try the beef spicy noodles bowl that had just perfect amount of spicy, we got the chow Mein combo that came with beef, shrimp and chicken, it was awesome very flavourful. “Blue Sky has pretty good food. The atmosphere is a rustic restaurant with modern conveniences. They do serve gluten free burgers and they also have a protein plate if you need to stay away from bread all together. Their menu consists of burgers, chili, salads, chicken, corn dogs, hot dogs, etc. They serve regular potato fries as well as sweet potato fries and onion rings. There is not table service. You order in a line and watch a screen for your number to pop up. Everyone picks up their food at the same counter, without a sneeze guard or anything. They have several soft drink and tea options along side several beers to drink. The drinks, excluding the beer, are serve yourself. One downside to this location is it was very hot inside. I don't know if that's to add to the rustic feeling or their AC couldn't keep up. Minus the AC issue, it was a good experience.”

“Fantastic and my new local go-to for Mexican. Ordered via delivery and everything was hot, fresh delicious... despite me ordering lunch time type fare at 9:00 a.m., I was accommodated. No forgotten utensils, there was enough salsa for even my salsa hogging self. The price was good enough that I ordered probably twice as much as was needed because I thought the portions would be smaller-- the leftovers won't last long, I foresee them being dinner as soon as I get hungry again. 😄 I'll have to get the in-person experience next time out of town friends come through too, because y'all made the must-share local list for me.”

“Grabbed a couple of burgers that were both really enjoyable. My partner had the junior and I had bacon cheese. The junior came with a nice size order of fries and we added an order of onion rings. Both were tasty. My partner had a beer on tap that came in a very nicely frosted 20oz stemmed glass. She thoroughly enjoyed it. She rarely finds somewhere that chills their glasses enough. Prices were very reasonable. Ambiance was unpretentious with a chill vibe. Staff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend Grumps if you're looking for a good burger while in Abilene.”

“Tried the new Waygu Steak Burger today and was surprised at the flavor it packed. On a friends recommendation,I requested no sauce as his was over sauced to the point he didn’t enjoy it. I would say he made a great suggestion, mine was great. The meat was tender and could use a pinch of salt but cooked perfectly and the veggies were fresh and flavorful. Curly fries were consistent, hot,crunchy and flavorful. I won’t be back for the burger though. Although good, it’s not good enough to spend almost 9.00 on.”
