Love this place but PLEASE CLEAN, LIKE TEAR APART AND DEEP CLEAN, YOUR SODA MACHINES. They don't like like they have been cleaned in months. Everything else is good.

This is a new fuel stop and definitely worth stopping at. Fuel prices are as much as .60 cheaper than the ripoff corporate truck stops. Of course the BBQ is good because it’s Texas.

First time stopping here and was not disappointed. Very clean. Awesome brisket BBQ sandwiches. Comes with a side and we were gonna get okra. We were in a hurry and it was gonna take a few for okra to cook so we opted to not have it....which is totally fine and actually great cause they make it fresh so I bet it's delicious. And something I haven't seen before, a fenced in pet area with a bench. Great for allowing pets out and keeping them safe.

Clean restrooms and good BBQ, chopped Brisket was very tasty! Highly recommend the stop.

Located on the eastbound side of I-20 exit 270, in Merkel, TX this facility is beautifully kept and is a entertaining break from boredom. I particularly enjoyed the gifts, souvenirs, and the variety of salsa. I scored some Carolina Reaper salsa that will straight smoke your socks and a couple of chicken tamales that were excellent. Hats off to the staff for clean and fresh bathrooms and some good coffee too.
The store was spacious and not crowded and it was easy to get off and back onto the Interstate even for big trucks. All things considered it was a nice break from the road.

Our family often travels from North Dallas to El Paso and this is one of the cleanest and enticing rest stop along the way which is tailored for 18 wheelers yet never has that heavy traffic. There are countless numbers of items to purchase for your journey plus hot BBQ to purchase. They have different clothing items and miscellaneous items to buy as souvenirs. I prefer this stop compared to all the PILOTS, Shell, etc.
I recommend you stop here especially if you have a family with small kids.
