Mount Pleasant Burgers & Fries

Don't get the double unless you're super hungry, these burgers are HUGE. One of the best, freshest burgers I've had in a long time. Restrooms are super clean as well. Place is a bit hard to spot though, appears it use to be a gas station, look for the burgers sign.

Amazing burgers. Easy Interstate access. Fresh cut French fries. Bowl of courtesy (free) chili beans on the counter for self serve while you wait. Also has a drive-through option.

As soon as I stepped into this restaurant I realised I had made the best decision of my day, perhaps my year, possibly my life.

The staff were a true example of southern hospitality, welcoming me like I was an old time friend.

The menu was simple and yet extensive. They had more than I could have asked for or imagined. Just like the good book says so.

My burger was the best I’ve ever had! Was it a burger, was it a taste of heaven? I couldn’t tell the difference.

The meat was juicy and well seasoned and all the extras that went with it were the ideal accompaniment.

The fries (chips) were fried to perfection and generously portioned. Tasty!

No matter what you do, even if you have to go out of your way, even if you have to fly to Texas to have this burger, do it! Don’t die with the regret that you never let your taste buds experience the glory that is Mount Pleasant Burgers and Fries.

Not often I give 5 stars, but this place has it all. First off I went to restroom to wash up and it was spotless. As I entered at least 3 people greeted me. On e they knew it was my first time she walked me through the entire menu. Simply put, it's a burger and fries joint so it's not a big dinner place. Huge staff, all friendly and fast.

Oh yeah my burger. For a 9.36 dollar meal. It was perfect.
Meat was larger than bun and tasty.
Everything was done just right. Can't say enough about the Fry's... Crisp and most of the time fresh cut tend to be soggy.... Not these. did I mention everyone there is friendly... They all asked where I was from and what brought me to Mt pleasant... What a great experience. Located in a old gas station, with a wrap around bat seating over looking the kitchen. Clean, fast fresh service.
I highly recommend and will be back.
I don't put this in the giant gourmet burger category, instead a good quality fresh burger with outstanding service and Fry's.
I would make a special hour trip just to come eat...again.

This place has the best burger I’ve ever had. Bring your appetite because the burgers are big and you’ll need to share an order of fries with someone because they are plentiful. They make everything fresh right down to the fries. Watch them cut them while you wait for your food to arrive. Yummy!!!
