Old Central Firehouse Pizzeria and Taproom

It's a 5 star for what it is, and that's the only fair way to grade a place. Is it luxury dining? No, but that's not why you came here. I'm from the NYC area and came here wanting pizza. It wasn't as good as the 10/10 new York pizza you can get for a dollar a slice that is bigger than your head. But for Texas, it's good. The beer variety is good enough, the staff is pleasant, and the interior is a decent atmosphere. It's good for the reasons you're thinking about going. I could go on for pages about everything wrong with the pizza, but again I'm spoiled and the pizza is very good for the 99% of the country that isn't NYC.

I need to come again to make sure this is a 5, but honestly it's close enough. Fun atmosphere, super friendly staff and plenty of pizza and beer options. I got the mushroom madness pizza which was good, but put different types of mushrooms on there! Sauce and crust were on point, so seriously what's the problem? It was awesome! I got the lizard queen gose on the side, HIGHLY recommend. Go, go again, then go again just to be sure. Firehouse pizza is where it's at

Pizzas where great and the pay by the ounce beer wall was reasonably priced. Would like to have seen more local choices. But the selection was good. Would definitely come back again when we visit.

Came here from Arizona to see this place!! It was amazing. The staff accommodated our special requests and were a ton of fun! The food and drinks are amazing. The owners were kind enough to give us a little tour. I was so impressed with how clean this place is. Thank you so much 💓

Pizza was good.. cheesy bread with jalapenos was even better and the wall of beer by the ounce awesome. In town for Firefighter hall of fame induction. We stayed above in the Air BnB and ate here twice. Awesome time in a cool fire themed atmosphere
