This was definitely the most fun and delicious experience my husband and I have had in a long time. We always go to blue tiger and loved their food and drinks so when the owner told us he was opening another restaurant we had to try! The waiter was so sweet and very attentive , even the other waitress asked us if we needed anything. They brought us so many different things to try! The sauce bar was really neat! All of the meats were tender. We loved the broths , we tried both kinds and they were both extremely flavorful , the vegetables and meat soaked up the authentic flavors and had us eating till we couldn’t anymore. So many meat and vegetable options to choose from. The sushi and buffet were awesome as well!! Very fresh. The mango pudding was my favorite thing I had on the buffet it was so refreshing! We will definitely come back and try what we didn’t get to try this time! Also I love the decor it has a very calm feel to it ! Thank you for this wonderful experience ! Y’all are awesome !!!

This place was so busy, expect to be there at least an hour. This is still the soft opening so don't go expecting for it to be running like a well oiled machine!
The food was outstanding! I got the mushroom hotpot with steak, lamb, and shrimp, and loved it. They did bring me some more soup and steak too. They had a sushi chef who can make you whatever you want also, but I just picked what they were serving, and I wasn't disappointed.
Wonderful people also, just remember to cut them some slack because they only have 2 servers right now, and everyone seems to be pitching in.
    Great place!!

Just got home from eating here for today's Soft Opening! I was raised in Socal and I gotta say, this was better than I expected out of San Angelo!

The place is well lit with natural lighting and I really enjoyed the vibe! As someone who enjoys Japanese Culture, I appreciate that this place tried its best to bring that atmosphere even though the place is not very big!

Service from the very beginning from all staff were wonderful. They were very kind and did their best to serve everyone as well as possible even though the place was already full barely minutes after they opened! They kept apologizing for delays, but I completely understand that it was a soft opening and it was a full house from the start! You can visibly see them rushing about while trying to maintain professionalism.

I've been typically disappointed in San Angelo's sushi, but the Sushi here was actually pretty good! Salmon, Tuna, Eel, Tamago, Tempura and more were all part of their sushi menu today. The Eel nigiri and Tempura maki were the best! As for the hotpot, I got the Mushroom broth. I tried Beef Eye Round, Beef Short, Ribeye, Lamb Leg, and the Seafood Balls! They were all really delicious after being cooked in the mushroom broth, then dipped in my sauce mix of choice. Their large variety of sauces was quite awesome!

I didn't try the buffet stuff besides sushi and dessert. Although the protein list wasn't very big, it was very satisfying and I also like the simplicity. I do wish there was more actual 'Japanese' options, but for San Angelo, this is more than I could have asked for. Definitely a great place if you want to experience Hot Pot!
