Southern Smoke BBQ

😁😄😑🤔 So I went here just because I've been to all the bbq places already and I wanted to try SSBBQ. I ordered two 2 meat combos, one with brisket/turkey for my wife, and mine was brisket/ribs(I had a taste for ribs today). They were out of mac&cheese...I live 20 minutes away in Knickerbocker, thinking about those ribs all the way home. To my surprise I had brisket and turkey on both plates!😕i immediately called , 3 times actually before he picked up. I spoke to Blake the owner. He remembered the order and apologized and told me the next one is on him👌🏾 That to me was excellent customer service. The BBQ was amazing, and even though I didn't want turkey, it was juicy! So I will be back😊(more than twice)! Thanks Blake!

I give it a DD. Damn Delicious!! Passing thru while heading back to Houston and decided to stop at SS BBQ. So glad I did!!

These guys can COOK. Everything is always top tier, including the service. Get the tacos and you won't be upset, the ribs are tasty and the brisket has amazing flavor. 12/10 recommend

Seriously, Blake does it right. Very simple seasoning with a flavorful and tender meat. The brisket has a great bark with just right salt flavor. Ribs!! Nam Nam Nam!! Finger looking good. Mac N Cheese was creamy and obviously very cheesy. Cole slaw was on point. Creamy slaw is just right. Potato Salad was so so. I think it needed a little more seasoning.

Loved the sausage, all house made. I didn’t get to try the jalapeño cheddar links, but next time for sure. Overall, you won’t be disappointed at all. I’m looking forward to going back and trying the other meats and desserts.
