We had the Steak Bits and the Quail and Waffles. The quail was substituted for chicken. As an appetizer we had the corn cheese dip. The dip was delicious, perfect ration of corn to cheese. The steak was so tender and well seasoned. My sides were mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. Oh my word, those mashed potatoes were amazing! I would come back just for those. Everything was fantastic
Food was spot on, service was great even though they were super busy! I had the steak bits and hubby had chicken fried chicken and it was seasoned well cooked correctly and delicious! Prices reasonable. Will be back!
our server, Haven was very attentive and did a great job. our appetizer, the chicken fried deviled egg was a definite hit with one of our table mates! we had entrees of totonka and asparagus which was loved. she did say the gravy was a little salty for her taste. we also had shrimp with grits. our table mate said hers was also a bit salty. we had two entrees with fried shrimp. the patron loved the unusual breading on the shrimp. presentation and preparation was outstanding. we finished with pecan cobbler with ice cream and that was a rich hit! overall a winning dinner and evening!
Great place, new so was crowded for lunch but we were seated promptly. I had the crawfish stuffed flounder and it was very flavorful. My party also ordered and enjoyed the Brisket Philly and Chicken fried pork chop. Our server was prompt and friendly.
Oh goodness where to start..I had the smoked meat poutine appetizer, very good. The cheese curds were a great topper. The meat had a smokey delicious flavor and was cooked to perfection! For my main dish, I had when pigs fly. The grilled chicken was soooo moist and tender, you can easily cut it with a fork. The atmosphere is great. I can't wait to go back and enjoy some music on the beautiful outdoor patio!! Don't miss out..I will definitely be dining at Troubadour's again soon.
