Catfish Parlour

Simply an excellent experience. Very family friendly and casual dining spot. Food is quick and service is excellent. Very reasonably priced and we walked out with plenty of leftovers. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to have a fun and tasty dinner!

If you like catfish, this is the place to be in Central Texas. The food and service are outstanding. It's also a good place to celebrate birthdays.

Had lunch here at about 3 in the afternoon. The timing may have something to do with the food. The catfish is all fried, there is no blackened or anything else. The buffet at lunch is decent. They had only one vegetable but have more with the dinner menu. The luncheon menu is a buffet. You pick the size of catfish order you want, and with it comes as much Caesar salad, french fries, hush puppies, mashed potatoes, a vegetable as you want. The mashed potatoes were excellent. The catfish was good, but had probably sat too long in the pan. The Caesar salad is bare bones, just lettuce and croutons. The Caesar dressing was a little bit too creamy for my taste. Service was friendly and prompt. but of course the restaurant was nearly empty. I'll eat there again, but time it better.

The fish is as good as ever!! A few minor changes over the years but always true to their roots. I liked the family style sides but everyone is happier choosing their own so that was a good change too. Keep it up and we'll keep coming!
