Not exactly the greatest experience, but wasn't bad either. The decor and atmosphere are great, but the service was minimal, however I came with a large group of people (which I hate to do to restaurants) and the waitress handled it very well. Food was pretty good, just felt like a big portion...which I guess is not unusual for a restaurant.
This is an amazing Vietnamese/Thai restaurant. Super efficient service. Great ambience and atmosphere. Their green curry is my favorite though I love other items as well. Recommended for anyone who likes Asian food.
It’s hard for my parents and I to find a great Thai place because we’ve actually been to Thailand and we’ve loved Thai food for years before that. This place had pretty good reviews so we decided to check it out. We came in right after a big birthday party just put in their order and the place was pretty busy but they sat us right away and with the waiter serving the birthday party. The party was 10+ people so it did take our waiter a bit to get to us, which was fine because he was great. My mother asked what kind of beer you have I like Thai beer, he said let me surprise you I’ll bring something good. And he did she loved the beer and the food was great, just like in Thailand 5 stars
I enjoyed the red curry with salmon during my most recent experience. The staff was exceptional and very helpful with the menu. The atmosphere was quaint, nothing too fancy, but not without a charm all too it's own. Once inside, I actually felt as though I had travelled to Bangkok and was eating at a local eatery. I will order the green curry with beef on my next visit.
The food and service wasn't as good as usual. Sap's seems to have changed the recipe for Spring Rolls.
The restaurant wasn't crowded but the hostess tried to seat us just outside the door to the kitchen. If the restaurant had been full, it would have been different but there were few customers and that is a less desirable spot.
In the past, I have always enjoyed taking people to Sap's. I will give them one more chance and unless it improves, I won't be back.
