Garbo's

Great food. Loved the lobster rolls, which was what brought us there. But REALLY loved the bacon and lobster grilled cheese sandwich. Killer.

Our waiter was... overzealous, but that's better than the alternative, I suppose.
Price was a little high, but what can I say. It's hard to find lobster rolls in town, let alone good ones.

Garbo's is excellent. I used to eat their lobster rolls from the food truck when it came around the office. The brick and mortar has an expanded menu, but still has all my old favorites. I like the Maine lobster roll and the clam chowder, but several other dishes are fantastic, too, including the burger (with lobster) and crab roll with bacon. Basically, you can't go wrong.

Best seafood in Texas!! Not only was the food delicious but the staff was courteous and so nice! They even offered me a blanket when they saw how cold I was! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Service is engaging and attentive. Food is always on point. Some of the freshest oysters I've had in Austin. If you've only been to the food truck, I highly recommend the brick and mortar. Don't miss out on the lobster bisque!

Used Google to find a place with a good Lobster Roll and Garbo's was rated number 1 in an article I read, so I decided to go with them and I was not disappointed. I've never had a lobster roll before, but I've always wanted to try them they always look so delicious! I had the Maine Lobster Roll and it came with chips, fries, or salad. I choose fries plate total $14. Well worth the price.

I think the only downfall for me was it wasn't filling and I was still hungry. BUT That just might be my appetite level and the fact that I didn't have breakfast and went at lunchtime. I wish they had an option of ordering additional Lobster Rolls by themselves (if they do I wasn't aware of it). I took my 4yr old and she had a grill cheese which she only ate half and I ate her other half which was decently a good grill cheese. Overall was very pleased with the taste of their food and would return.
