I went to this place on a whim and honestly was very impressed, super simple $2 tacos with $5 quality.
Do you like inexpensive, authentic tacos with homemade tortillas? Of course you do, otherwise you wouldn’t be here. This place serves up seriously awesome tacos that cheap ($2-3 each) and they’re not anemic like a lot of other “street tacos” in Austin. Shelly’s is by far the best tacos in Austin for the cost. Note: bring cash.
