I enjoyed a nice lunch here with my family one day. My favorite part was the butter coffee! I’m a newbie to it. I had a cappuccino, and it was delicious! It’s a casual, somewhat modern eatery with a fresh feeling. Fresh as in something unordinary, and bright, calming decor. Our server was very nice and informative about the gluten-free menu. He made a couple of mistakes but it was completely forgivable. In addition he was very nice in comping my beverage for the trouble. The menu items are little pricey but it’s worth it because it’s delicious and flavorful. In addition to butter coffee, they have some other menu items you can’t find at other eateries like bone broth.

If you want a restaurant that perfectly embodies Austin... you have found it! Picnik features sustainably sourced.. well.. everything. They make conscious decisions about everything from the oil they use to the meat they serve. I had the Blush Puppy cocktail and enjoyed knowing part of my purchase was being donated to Austin Pets Alive. Would highly recommend for the environmentally aware Austinite.

AMAZING! I have a pretty severe gluten allergy and I don’t get any sort of (non-sandy tasting) bread type treats. This place was amazing! The breads were delicious and not gritty.

If you didn't tell me that this was a hyper-allergenic dietary focused restaurant I'd never know. The food is absolutely incredible, and healthy to boot. The executive chef, Dan, and the rest of the staff know what they're doing.

An all-around great dining experience. Lots of innovative and tasty food choices, including the only nightshade-free menu I've ever seen at a restaurant. Don't miss their Brussels sprouts and bacon appetizer, and if you drink, don't miss their signature margarita. The interior is beautiful and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.
