I loved Corner Bakery in Houston so when I needed box lunches for 60 out-of-town guests in Austin, I immediately went to them. They were great to work with and made the whole experience easy and fun. Everyone raved about the sandwiches and some are even looking for Corner Bakeries in their hometown. Thank you for making me look good!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Consistent and very very good for breakfast. Not sure what they put in the coffee and tea but I find myself craving it days later. I always feel like I had something good when I leave there.

I eat there 1x per week. Brunch mostly. Great prices and good food. Sometimes I go after rush and eat a late breakfast. You can eat well for $10. That's what I spend. 4 coffees, tea, beverages included in that big ticket.
Self serve on beverages and no tips. Good formula to make eating out affordable. Ate at new restaurant a few weeks ago and breakfast for 2 was $55 with tip. Crazy. Staff is wonderful and is overwhelmed at rush and one person delivering food and bussing gets overwhelmed.

I walked here from the hotel that I was staying in. When I first walked in, there was no indication on whether to seat yourself, order at the counter, or to wait at a table for a menu. I decided to take a seat and just wait for a few to see what I was supposed to do. I realized after a few minutes that you are supposed to order at the counter. This is the only reason that I'm giving it 4 stars.

The food was really good. I ordered the bacon avocado bowl (without bacon because I am not much for eating pork). The wait time was about 7 minutes after ordering. The portions were decent and I left pleasantly filled....not full, but not hungry. When the waitress brought me my order, I realized that I had forgotten to ask them for no added salt because I am during my third trimester of pregnancy so I'm watching my salt intake. What I found however is that they don't add salt when they are cooking. They leave the salt on the table so that customers can season to taste for themselves. I very much appreciated this!

They also had a counter that was full of all sorts of baked goods that looks fantastic and looked very tempting but I withstood the temptation just because that is the goal right now. Overall, a nice place with good food.

This is truly a hidden gem. We walked from our hotel to get some breakfast and decided to stop in and get take out to eat in our room. We got the Eggs, bacon and pancake breakfast. I have to say it was packaged perfectly. It had butter, syrup, utensils...just a professional grade job by the staff. It was a very generous portion as well. The 4 pancakes would have been a breakfast all by themselves.
There were so many tasty looking items in the display case. We were sad that our stay wasn't longer. Definitely check this place out if you near the Arboretum area in Austin.
