Aster's Ethiopian Restaurant

This place never disappoints! Any of their lentil dishes are the best in town. Any sweet staff

I was visiting Austin for work endeavors and opted for Ethiopian supper. The food was tantalizing though not hot but a relative temperature. I have had better Ethiopian dishes. The environment is very relaxing, quiet and a place to be alone as the staff are not very interactive. They are present if needed though. Don’t let the outside deter you. The inside is clean.

Ate at Aster's during the lunch buffet. I was in love from the very first bite. I enjoyed everything I put on my plate. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The food has a lot of different spices in it and I enjoyed it all.

This probably not the place for people with a weak stomach or a bland sense of taste.
This food realigned my taste buds. I can easily say this is the best food I have EVER eaten in my life! I look forward to coming again and hopefully bringing friends and family.

Asters is a regular spot for me. The food is consistently tasty and fairly healthy. It's a good place for vegetarians but meat eaters are happy also. Their salad dressing is fantastic! The buffet is a great quick option during the workday and a great way to try a little of everything.

Absolutely fantastic. :) The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the environment is so casual and comfortable. I've passed by this restaurant for many years on the highway and never got to stop and try it until yesterday and it was SUCH a pleasant surprise. I'll definitely be returning here sometime in the not-too-distant future for a hot & ready meal. :)
