Hillside Farmacy

What a lovely place! We arrived near closing time on a cool, blustery day but were treated like old friends, with a heating lamp and a table shielded from the wind. We had the cheese plate, a red wine blend and the grapefruit jalapeno marg. Looking forward to our next visit.

Our service experience at the restaurant was not exemplary to say the least. After reaching out about the matter, Hillside Farmacy was apologetic and offered resolution - which went a long way.

Our food was well enjoyed and we respected the contactless dining. Hopeful that this was an isolated incident and that the service compliments Hillside's reputable name.

We dined here pre-coronavirus and we were lucky to be able to get a table inside (the place was super busy). The nostalgic effect when dining inside is a nice touch, and I'm not really into nostalgic places. Our first meal in Austin was a solid option here at Hillside Farmacy. I chose the mac and cheese (very tasty) but I wish I had picked something a bit more filling as it turned out that I was hungrier than I thought (seeing the food brought out to the next table over caused my hunger to amplify!).
