This place has been around for years and is still one my favorite taco places.
The tortillas are homemade, which is the staple of great taco place. They have a variety of different options, some more traditional than others. They have some amazing house made salsas as well.
They're attached to Sao Paolo restaurant, which can be kind of confusing, but the staff greets you when you walk in, so you shouldn't have trouble putting in an order.
They got a second location on Riverside that has plenty of parking if you don't want to deal with University traffic.
Absolutely delicious tacos and a must-visit if you're in Austin, Texas! This staple is located right near the Engineering buildings on The University of Texas at Austin campus. I always order a couple breakfast tacos, and this last visit, I tried a street taco (which was AMAZING)! All of the tacos are very affordable and made fresh. Highly recommend, and they even have a coffee deal with a few breakfast tacos too.
I rarely leave reviews but needed to leave one for this restaurant. It was HOPPING and I now know why. It is absolutely authentic and delicious! The tacos are huge. Two is more than enough! And they are cheap! I had steak street taco and shrimp taco and they were both so flavorful. Their salsa bar is outstanding. The tortillas were handmade and taste exactly like what I've had in Mexico. Some of the best tortillas I've ever had. The staff is SO friendly and helpful. And they were FAST. I highly recommend! Decor isn't fancy but is completely appropriate for the fair. Definitely stop here for an amazing lunch!
Amazing. My friends and I woke up hungover and didn't want to walk too far to find food and some coffee. We were able to find this place right down the street from us. The tacos and coffee were just what we needed to start our day. Their cold brew is good and I recommend it to start you day off right.
