Everything was excellent! Food!! Staff! I asked specific questions that were answered in detail. Very nice staff! Amazing food! Simple menu made the whole meal about the steak! Loved it! Will absolutely be back and will bring people! I may sing it from the rooftops! There's a reason they've been around for over 85 years!!!

Came here for the first time and our waitress let us know the place reopened in December 2021 after being closed since March 2020.
The menu on the website is currently inaccurate - they only have a selection of steaks (ribeye, tenderloin, etc.) with a side of steak frites, a side salad, and bread.
The steaks are delicious and wait staff awesome. This place is no frills, and if all you want is a solid steak and potatoes, this place is for you.

Very great food and very nice staff working there

Steak was great. There were 5 tables in the entire place when we visited. The meal is the same - you choose the meat and everything else is automatic. Iceberg lettuce salad with green olives and a garlic and oil dressing. White or wheat loaf bread and crackers, potato wedges. No choices in anything other than the cut of meat. Can't choose dressing, or side. Steak was cooked perfectly and delicious. Steaks come drenched in a butter and lemon sauce.

Only 5 tables and the noise level is so very loud. No way to have a conversation. The building is super old so the noise level is probably due to the age of the building.

One of a kind ambiance. Delicious, buttery soaked steak. Garlic salad with green olives spices up the night with a little nostalgia. I had completely forgotten about the potatoes. When they came out after the steak, they were a crisp, golden, and delicious surprise!

The service was great.
