Vespaio Restaurant

We went in on a Monday night for dinner and were blown away with Vespaio Austin. Adorable restaurant, very warm, inviting vibe with an open kitchen you can see from any seat in the dining room. Nice separate bar area as well. Tim our server was phenomenal, made excellent recommendations and provided wonderful service. For starters we had the Calamari Fritti Arrabbiata and smaller portion of the Snapper Raviolini, which was incredible. I wish I had gotten the entree portion of the raviolini, hands down our favorite dish of the night. For the mains my husband had the Risotto del Giorno and I had the Spaghetti alla Carbonara. Both were fantastic! The risotto was cooked to perfection, and the spaghetti was an extremely generous portion that somehow I managed to finish because it was absolutely delicious. We managed to leave some room for dessert and got the Tiramisù. It was a little dry for my personal taste but you can't go wrong with Tiramisù, it was the perfect end to an incredible dinner. Great wine selection too, and they make a solid Negroni.

We loved this place so much that we went back the following night. Everything we had was fantastic and service was great.

Birthday dinner was amazing! Fresh pasta and ingredients. The food is amazing and service is right up there. We never had to ask for more water and they were attentive and took finished dishes away quickly. Every entree was delicious and fresh.

Absolutely love Vespaio Restaurant. Particularly love sitting at the bar and talking to the bartenders and the other people at the bar. Love the hangar steak and the great lasagna. My husband and I often share the steak and ask for it on two plates because it is such a large serving. Last time there I had a pizza and it too was delicious -- like everything they serve. We highly recommend Vespaio.
