Hat Creek Burger Company

Meh! An average burger joint, and small burgers at that. They use those 3/4 size buns that are somewhere between a slider and the standard size available at the grocery store. The beef patties are thick with good bite and hot grill flavor, which kinda makes up for the bun. But one slice of bacon broken in half and very little bbq sauce on the Cowboy Hat burger I ordered made it a meat and bread experience; I could barely taste the bacon or the sauce. The fries are real good. Salted just right, crispy on the outside and tender inside, FF perfection. But I felt I didn't get what my hard earned dollars should have paid for. This was my second visit and I remembered why it was so long between them. If I go back, it'll be for an order or two of their fries. They'll knock your hat in the creek.

Great place for a quick bite. Love that they had a lettuce-as-the-bun option. The custom sauces are great, especially the fry sauce, and the dirt worm milkshake is a good treat!

Great burger place. They have a big playscape with seating close by. Burgers are great. Parents can relax a bit while the kiddos play. They have good burger and drink specials on certain nights. Great for large groups or birthday parties for the little ones. The staff is very accommodating. The only criticism I have is the wait in line. I've been here countless times and never seen more than 1 register open. I'm not sure why they even have a 2nd register. It could be two people or 10 in line and just one person on a register. They're friendly and give good service but need a way to move the line faster.

1st time to hear of this place so decided to try it. $15 bucks for 2 double patty burger, fries and drinks. Burgers were spot on. Tasted like real meat grilled on the pit, pickles crunchy and lettuce old school thick iceberg lettuce. Tasted amazing. The fries were thin cut and would have been amazing BUT they were entirely over salted. That was the reason for lower rating.
I will try it again but ask for no salt on fries. Oh and this food is great for eating at the place or at home BUT not driving, it is too messy

EXCEPTIONAL service. Drive thru workers are always friendly and attentive! Variety of choices. A little pricey, but way better than your average fast food.
