(April 11, 2019, 4:53 pm)Hands down my favorite catfish house in the Austin area. If you want catfish this is the place to go. Catfish is always consistently good. I have been to the others in the area and they don't compare. There country fried steak is not bad either.

(March 10, 2019, 9:17 pm)Awesome spot, as always, and the crowd speaks to the quality. The customer service is awesome and if you drop in often enough the cashiers start to recognize your face. The food is flavorful with a seal of approval from myself and my family (all originally from the coast). I'm quick to recommend this place to anyone that drops in to Hutto to visit me.

(February 6, 2019, 5:26 am)GREAT FOOD...small hometown feel with home cooking taste! Food was HOT and DELICIOUS. Prices are reasonable..great for work lunch(fast service)..or just a lunch chatting with friends. The Variety on menu will have something for everyone.

(January 18, 2019, 12:00 am)This place is a gem. Humble country interior and well made home cooking. Some of the best fried catfish tacos I've ever had. Crunchy and a little spicy and no grease! Great salads, fried fish and shrimp and all sorts of other things. The perfect antidote to Austin hipster farm to table tiny food (which I also like).
