Shogun Japanese Grill & Sushi bar

Really enjoyed watching the food being made. Cook had a sense of humor like no other that kept everyone laughing. Even gave out various samples for everyone to try. White rice was good but definitely go the the steam fried version. Definitely a worthwhile option for entertainment and good food. Would definitely recommend for friends, family, or a date.

This was a very fun experience and the food was great. Everyone there was happy and had a good attitude which improved the experience. And the show was great for the kids.

I just came for the second time since I have lived in the area. Definitely your usual Japanese hibachi grill. Not as big as some I have been too, but I haven't seen this place too busy for the location it is in.

Parking is easy and access from the frontage road is very easy.

It's kind of like a real chill place to hang out with friends or go on a date with your significant other.

They have a full bar and entry way is kind of cool because it keeps the restaurant some what a private experience from the outside or protects the people I side from inclement weather like my visit today was.

The owner did walk around to check how we were doing. The waitress kept our drinks full and was very attractive to our needs.

They do give you a lot food for your meals and I was amazed at the price honestly. I was expecting over a $100 but for my wife and I we paid $63 before tip.

Had a great time. Our server was fantastic. She was extremely attentive and a drink never went dry. She also had a lot of fun with our 2 year old son, even took him on a tour of the place. The cook was a lot of fun and very entertaining. We will be back.

We came in at 8p. We sat in the main eating area. The atmosphere was underwhelming. Nice decor but playing a mix rock and pop. Our server was very attentive, but other servers cleared some of the condiments from our table while we are sitting there. We ordered vegetable tempura for an appetizer, sushi A, tuna roll, Texas roll, Volcano roll and Rocket roll. The tempura was ok, the batter was thicker and heavier compared to other places. The sushi was good. The tuna and Texas rolls were pretty plain. The Volcano roll is fried, but was mushy and doughy like it was not fried long enough. The Rocket roll was good.

We came here for a special occasion. We came away not feeling we had experienced a special treat, it was just so-so.
