Recommend getting into line on their website before you head to the restaurant. Probably because it is brand new with gift card coupons mailed out, they are extremely busy. Service was a bit slow but to be expected as packed as they were. Food was great. The tater tots are a very good starter. Chicken fried steak was good although it could have been a bit more tender. The gyro was also tasty. Definitely a place to eat. Hopefully the newness will wear off and it won't be as crowded.
There is a niche for diners whose menu is as big as their portions and 54 certainly has the quantity on both counts but quality and or pricing needs to catch up to the monumental offerings of this sports bar-cum-diner-cum-who knows what else before you'd feel comfortable taking your extended family(not even the one cousin you actually vibe with) here.
Things we didn't expect fried came fried everything was kind of bland and nothing on the humongous menu really excited the imagination. The carrot cake was good though.
Maybe this place will rally it is a new build after all or perhaps its mediocrity will be rewarded, either way I don't think I'll be returning.
I've been to this place several times since they opened, and I have to say this place is fantastic. The decor and vibe is amazing; I absolutely love the Corvette on the wall! The staff, I've had Kayla (server) and Corey (bartender), have been awesome, friendly, and very helpful. I live in Round Rock and do not at all mind driving to Pflugerville for this place. I haven't had anything off the menu that I didn't like. The prime rib sandwich has been my favorite thus far. If you're at all curious, I'd definitely check this place out! Happy hour specials are really good too!!
Great new place with food that was WAY better than expected. Went for lunch today thinking it would be typical bar-style food or something like Chili's, but I was pleasantly surprised. The grilled chicken sandwich was one of the best I've ever had, and even the side of grilled vegetables were amazing! Service was also great, prices were reasonable, and the place has a cool vibe. Food was a little slow to come out, but I think that's more related to them just opening. Excited to have another great restaurant in the area. I will definitely be going back!
Food is great as well as the variety. Have been twice and each time the service was incredibly slow. Didn't get our order for food until the hour mark and had to ask for our check as soon as the food arrived.
I know this place is new, so hopefully this improves over time, but as for now ensure you have 2 hours to spare at a minimum.
