Wonderful, believe they are as good or better than they have ever been. Terry is doing a great job of Carring on a " gilmer tradition " I believe it's 50 years old. Thanks for not changing.
The hot links are fantastic and freshly made. The service was great and the restaurant's atmosphere was down home.
I know I'm going to get a lot of flack for saying this but I like their hot links better than Pittsburg. They were bigger and less greasy. They are probably twice the competitions size but still competitively priced. For all you nay sayers that think there is no way that these hotlinks can be better than Pittsburg hot links I say don't knock it before you try it. I thought the same thing but was persuaded by the taste.
The ladies there were amazing and delivered our order with smiles on their faces! Will definitely go back!
Oh my goodness. We've lived in this area for a decade but just tried these links for the first time. I didn't know what I was missing. We had been watching Texas Country Reporter re-runs on YouTube and one came on for Doc's. They looked so good, we decided to go into town and give them a try. I've never tasted links like these in my life. Melt in your mouth tenderness that was a very pleasant surprise. Most links I've ever had have been tough to chew, but not these. Also, they have beans and potato salad that are very good. Needles to say we are now fans and will be going back. If you haven't tried them then do yourself a favor and do so. Definitely recommend.
