Evett's Bar-B-Que

Found this gem one day as we traveled through Uvalde, Texas. The staff is so friendly and considerate. I was able to specifically choose the section of brisket I wanted. The sausage is spectacular and the ribs are so tender they fall off the bone. Sides are delicious and the dining area is rustic but clean. It's a quiet spot to grab lunch or dinner. Highly recommend that you stop and eat if you're heading to or through Uvalde.

Great the staff was polite and helpful. We both had 2 meats plates and the brisket melted in our mouths. Pulled pork and ribs were also very good. Sides were fresh and well prepared, and the BBQ sauce was sweet and tasty but not over powering. Great meal and well priced.
Highly recommend if your in Uvalde.

The sliced brisket was tender enough, but no smoke ring and very little smoke flavor, not the worst we've had, but not the best. Matter of taste on the potato salad, have never had it made with sugar, won't again. Started to have the coleslaw, but you could see dried up looking pieces of cabbage on the sides of the bowl, hum, no thanks.

Mediocre brisket. Sausage was pretty bland. Not on par with "south" Texas bbq.
