Ole West Bean & Burger

Food is consistent here. I enjoy most of the chicken dishes. The salad bar is the best in town. We had a large group and service was slow in getting our food. Our kids got really tired. Staff was attentive despite the wait for the food. Not the best place if you're in a hurry. But if not the food and service is good.

We met a friend we hadn't seen in over 30 years here. The food was very good and I loved the fact that they didn't rush us at all. Three of us had burgers and we all loved them. One of us had a rib eye and he said it was good.

Everyone gets free beans - we had baked beans - and they were yummy. And, for after you finish eating, there are huge tubs of Blue Bell ice cream. You get to choose from several kinds and you do the dipping so you can have as much or as little as you want.

Prices were reasonable. Quantities were large.

This won't appeal to everyone, but it did to me. Outside, there are two sizes of wooden crosses that are available, free for the taking, with a limit of three. The cross in the picture was the small size. The large one was considerably larger.

This restaurant is an hour away, but I will revisit.

Nice family atmosphere. Great selection from the menu and a fresh salad bar. The bean bar is offered with all meals and ice cream to top off your meal. Really enjoy going here.

Great salad bar & bean/soup bar. Excellent fried catfish. Nice home town feeling with friendly and helpful staff. The rest of the menu looks great. Picked up a free wooden cross with “Jesus is Lord” on it, very nice. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you and God Bless.
