Soulman's Bar-B-Que

This was a great little find. I had the beef brisket with sides and it was all really good. This will be regular stop everytime I'm in the area.

Great food. Very friendly staff. Nothing bad to say at all. Price is right. Would recommend.

Came here a few times while driving through. I loved this place. Happy it was close to the loves. As a truck driver I don’t get many great food options. It was good and plenty of food. Unfortunately I tried to come here again today and it didn’t seem to be open. No sign of what happened but the door was boarded up with a generator running outside the restaurant. Hopefully they aren’t gone for good. I really enjoyed the chicken and ribs.

Nice atmosphere and people. You order off a line and everything else is self service. I had the soul bowl which is sausage and chopped pork, beans and cheese over corn chips. I added jalapenos and pickles. It was good and filling. Most things seemed a tad expensive and the standard side portions were small. It was however conveniently next door to the truckstop. Other menu items looked good. I don't think it's quite as good as other destinations but it works.
