The PumpHouse Riverside Restaurant and Bar

Great. I'm from Houston and was traveling for work. I was told about this restaurant and checked it out. The place was packed rather early in the evening but cleared out around 8pm. Everyone was courteous and genuine when doing it. The hostess at the front texted me when my table was ready. I ended up sitting at the bar since I was alone without guests. The patio is on the river and with ample seating. I ordered the salmon and it was delicious. The portion was slightly smaller than most restaurants. The pricing for the quality of the food was very reasonable. The menu had a diverse selection to choose from and was created by the chef. The key lime pie was great. I was told the desserts were made by a pastry chef in house and not bought from an outside vendor. The food did take longer that usual to come out, but it was very busy and the quality of the food made up for the slight delay. I will definitely be back here.

I used to live in Fairbanks almost 2 years ago. I came back to Fairbanks for graduation and had dinner at pump house with my family. I have ate here before and 2 years later the food is still great. Great atmosphere and I was even able to bring cake from outside into the restaurant. I don't know when I will be back to Fairbanks but when I do I will definitely come back to pump house.

We made reservations for our anniversary. I specifically asked for a private table and really wanted a table by the bar. The hostess I spoke to assured me she had the perfect spot for us. We arrived on time and were seated at a WELL lit table for 6, it was only two of us. It most definitely was not what I expected. Our waiter was nice, albeit stretched a little thin considering there were several large parties seated around us that he was serving or helping serve. The food was good, as was expected at one of Victoria’s nicer restaurants. I would definitely go back, but maybe not make reservations....

We ate outside near the river. The outdoor temperature was in the low 70's. We ordered burgers and sweet potato fries. The food was very good. Our waitress told us at the beginning that she was very busy.
The service was good and our food arrived at our table in about 15-20 minutes. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the view, the meal and the service..very nice place!
