“I've been here twice now. A local iconic restaurant of Victoria that all Victorians have eaten at at least once in their lives. Service is friendly, but it can be a bit confusing if you've never been here. You are at one of the windows and they give you a number. You go back and sit in your vehicle until they call your number and then you go back and pay at that time and receive your meal and drink. They take both cash and debit/credit. Parking is limited and they are busy both at lunch and dinner. I've had there hamburger which is pretty much order it how you want it. T was a good burger that did the job. I've also had their shrimp basket which comes with toast, your choice of fries or tater tots, and tartar sauce. The shrimp unfortunately are frozen pre-made sourced from their supplier. They weren't bad, just had hoped for something else. But for the price, you get loaded down with food and you can't beat that! I also had their chocolate malt which comes in one size (about 12-16 oz) and it was tasty. All in all a good local joint to stop in for a good meal for a good price.”

( Addressing the negative reviews about portion sizes and food quality) I believe the location is cultivating historic sandwiches and if they were to update the menu and put 2019 portion sizes into a place famous for sandwiches made in the 1800’s we would lose a piece of history as appetites ,weight, and daily caloric intake was massively different that long ago.
