Carbonero Rotisserie Charbroiled Chicken & Steaks

Not sure what to make of this one. Delicious food yes, but isn't everything that is fried delicious. Full flavor full fat yummy! Good thing I'm a cyclist.

After touring SHSU we wanted Mexican food for a late lunch. We like to try different places and this promised El Salvadoran/Mexican food. Sort of a blend, I guess. It is a little out of sight coming from Sam, but not hard to find. We were seated promptly and even at 2:00 it was half-full. Our waitress was very nice and worked hard the whole time. It is not fancy inside but is clean and not greasy. The food was very good and the prices were very reasonable. For our family of 4 we paid just under $49 for 4 entrees and drinks. We did not get an appetizer. I would gladly eat there again.

We had friends invite us to dine with them here. Food was delicious and generous portions, friendly staff. We came back several times since then. Now we live out of state but rave about this wonderful restaurant!

This is traditional Salvadoran food. Absolutely love this place and the owners. The food is incredible and they treat you like family. You will not be disappointed.

I never tried this place because I'm not a big fan of rotisserie chicken. Well let me correct myself, I USED to not be a fan. This place has the BEST chicken in Huntsville and surrounding areas by far. The white rice is amazing every time, and the green sauce it comes with is amazing. I always put it on the rice to give it that extra heat. I ordered the smothered chicken without onions, and with the rice and a salad, it was an amazing dinner. What's awesome is, they have it perfectly seasoned, you'd think chicken would be dry from a place like this. But oh how wrong you'll be, its delicious! 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend the smothered chicken with white rice and put the green sauce on the rice! if you don't like onions, then take them off. they give a good flavor when they sit on the chicken. it was so good I didn't even wait to take a picture of what I had ordered.
