La Jaiba Loca

My first visit was on the evening of 04/30/22. I had a very enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was pleasant, the location is convenient and away from heavy traffic congestion, the food was excellent, the tables were very clean, and the live music was really great. On top of that the waitress was one of the best in Laredo. I didn't get her name, but she gets six stars. I ordered the camarones al ajillo which was $14.99. Yes it was only 8 shrimp, but the plate came with rice, which was very good, avocado slices and a small salad. The garlic sauce in which the shrimp were presented was really excellent and flavorful. I was filled up after finishing this delicious plate of food, which was delivered to the table very promptly and aesthetically pleasing in appearance. In regards to the live music, it was a single female vocalist and a keyboardist and they played a great variety of Mexican music. I requested "Como La Flor" by Selena, and they immediately performed it beautifully, along with a whole medley of Selena hits (R.I.P. Selena). Overall, between the ambience of the place, the very attentive waitress, the awesome music, and overall experience, I really like this place and will definitely visit again soon. Please keep up the good work and I'll refer people your way.

This is my second time I have been there, I like their alcoholic drinks and their live music on Wednesday's but seriously I didn't like their breaded shrimp 😐.
Today I didn't have anything to eat but I did have an alcoholic drink with my friends.

It’s a good place. It beats the laguna, with the food, service, and overall environment. We’ve gone two times, the first one wasn’t so great, it was one of the first few weeks they opened, and the second time was recently, and everything improved. They are very accommodating wether it’s looking for a certain channel for a couple of minutes to changing a dish to fit my taste. Everyone looks willing to help with each other or with the customers. 10/10.

Love the service, food and vibe. The server was so nice, the food was really good, just a little pricey. We went on Friday, when there’s live music. It was really nice environment. I would go again.
