Been to Mr. Crabby's in Laredo twice, most recent visit 03/19/23. Surprised and delighted to find such authentic and delicious Cajun cuisine on the border! Today I ordered the fried catfish/fried oyster combo basket w/Cajun fries --SO GOOD that I had a hard time deciding which to have for my last bite (see photo). Our server, Natalie, was friendly and most attentive to our needs.

The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because on both occasions I have dined there, I have had to ask for cutlery. Étouffée ain't finger food. It requires a spoon.

Our server Kelsey was the bomb-dot-com! Giving 3 stars only because we were there much longer than what we would have preferred; 3+ hours and checkout process was not smooth. We were a large party and unfortunately Kelsey was the only person attending to us however did the best as she could. Food and drinks were great.

Feedback:
I recommend in the future for large parties like ours to automatically split the checks as our orders were taken. This caused us to wait even longer as Kelsey spoke with the manager to assist.

Overall, we had a good time.

Delicious boil and great staff. Our waiter Homer did an excellent job being attentive and and quick. Well worth coming for enjoying some Cajun food!

Looking for Fresh Oysters?!

This place some of the best that I have found in the Laredo Area! Very fresh and sized perfectly!

The boils are what they are known for, but the fresh oysters are their best kept secret.

Ask for Rafael, he will make sure to get you the best service and give you the best recommendations.

The staff is very polite and attentive, we will definitely visit at least two-three times a month.
