Mediocre place for breakfast. Nothing special. We did enjoy the homemade flour and corn tortillas. The coffee tasted burnt and the chicharrón tacos were not spicy at all. No flavor. The chorizo they sell here lacks spice. It's not that good. The menudo was OK. I did enjoy the chilaquiles and the pancakes were fluffy and good. Weird that they sell them, but they weren't on the menu. Overall just an OK place to have breakfast and very affordable. 7 of us in our party and we paid $50. Not bad at all.
Luv the Mexican plate the taste was great and the price was better food was a lot for what I paid.
This hidden gem was discovered during a business trip to Laredo. I took a risk. A few hours later, I was more than satisfied with the food's deliciousness and Sandra's service.
The menu displayed a selection of their daily lunch specials. I ordered the tacos dorados c/ carne with guacamole sauce that was dripping with pure goodness. But first, I was served a delectable caldo de verdura soup. I could taste the carrots and other fresh veggies. I enjoyed every single bite of this exquisite freshly made meal.
They were busy as it was expected during lunch hours, but they managed to meet all of the stupid demands from customers (like the table in front of me w/ 3 kids). It's disheartening that some people will give a one-star rating for the wait time.
I hope to return to Laredo soon. This will be a must-visit for lunch, dinner and breakfast.
Was clean and help was friendly. The food was pretty good and they got it out quickly
Had the caldo de res (beef soup) it had a real good flavor.
