5 stars for the food, 1star for the waitress. Food was excellent, tasted like everything was cooked fresh. Went on a Saturday at 6pm, restaurant was empty except for the 2 of us. The waitress is another story. Ordered queso... Figured it would be right out. Then we see our meals coming. So I didn't say anything, because we didn't want the queso anymore. Waitress never asked if we wanted refills, never refilled our chip basket, then took forever bringing us our check. Bill was 37.42 I gave her 40$...received 2 dollars back. She said "did you want your 58 cents back, I mean it's only 58 cents" so I left her a dollar tip. Hope we don't get her as a waitress again

I visited this restaurant for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was seated promptly and drink orders were taken. The hostess was courteous and answered all of our questions.

One of the waitresses overheard that it was my wife's birthday soon, so we ordered tres leches cake (delicious normally, and this restaurant did the cake justice) and they came out and sang happy birthday.

The service was excellent as was the food. You can tell that the food is fresh and not frozen prepackaged meals and they actually care about the consumers. I will definitely be going again and would recommend to anyone looking for good Texmex food in El Campo.

Would get 5 stars if it bc wasn't so expensive
