Pelican's

It amazes me that this place is so highly rated. The food was average at best, but almost certainly not worth the price. However, the atmosphere was good, and the wait staff were very kind and professional. I'd be willing to try Pelican's again, just a different dish.

For the money I spent....I was disappointed. Steak was not cooked evenly and the Brussels were barely warm. The raw oysters and lobster were good. But our server was awesome.

I am impressed every single time I step into this restaurant. They have such a friendly, professional and fun work staff. They operate like a well oiled machine! They have perfected every food option on their menu and are always thinking of new and delicious food items that never disappoint! Good job Pelican owners, management, chefs, and servers! Y’all are giving Wichita Falls real fine dining!

Alyse is wonderful. I ordered the shrimp scampi thinking it was pasta (it’s not pasta), and she was able to get me exactly what I wanted!! I will be coming back. Amazing service, great vibe, yummy food.

We ate here on New Years Eve. Had reservations for over 2weeks. They sat us in the bar with a family of 3 small kids. Asked to see the Manager for a better table. She was great and actually seated us were we always sit. My husband ordered the special 16oz. Porterhouse and I ordered the lobster which our waitress came back and said it was actually $49.99 instead of the normal price ?? The porterhouse looked like a round steak no bone ?
It was $39.99 and was more than a 1/4 of an inch thick. Our dinner was $140.00 and we will never go back. Shame on you Pelican's !!
