Meats & Sweets

Just heard about this place and had to try it. They have all sorts of meats and sweets. We decided to try the smash burgers, and they were awesome. They had that nice crispy char on the patty. The fries were perfectly cooked ac had a nice seasoning on them. Have to go back and try the rest of the menu. Service was awesome and friendly. The only complaint is that it was a little warm inside. Other than that, it was a great find. I highly recommend it.

I drove to Lyford from Harlingen just to visit Meats and Sweets and it was worth every mile! Best breakfast taco I’ve had in years and my iced coffee was fabulous. Thank you so much for your hospitality and overall great experience! :)

This place is AMAZING!! The food is to DIE FOR! I mean literally I think I went to heaven when I tasted the brisket and the pastries. I’m not the biggest coffee person but I saw someone with the Oreo coffee and my mouth started watering! It’s family owned, and they are super nice. The location has an insane history, so be sure to ask. A MUST GO everytime I’m in the area!!
