If you like Barbecue this is the place to go in Texas. They also serve breakfast in the morning that is cooked to order right in front of you while you wait. They serve barbecue at 11 AM until it runs out so if you want smoked to perfection ribs that fall off the bone, fork tender brisket, moist and tender pulled pork and the best sausage ever piled high on your plate or a bun you better hurry because it doesn't last long. Then to end the meal get their homemade daily desserts. I had the coconut cream pie and all I can say about it is..... WOW it's to die for.
Very good Bbq. Huge portions… friendly people. I had the brisket sandwich. It was very good and huge. I recommend you come early because once they sell out of their yummy meat, they close for the day.
A gem of a place for Port Mansfield. This place serves some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had. Everything was delicious and the bread pudding topped off an already incredible meal. The owners were nice and talked with us and the place is clean and inviting.
We stopped in hoping for a great breakfast, especially after visiting the website and reading about how the restaurant got started, but the scowling, impatient woman running the register didn't give us the most hospitable experience. The two of us were the only people there so it was surprising that she was so rude. The breakfast burritos were good, albeit a bit greasy. 4.5 stars for the food, 1 for the service.
Couldn’t even wait to take a picture it was so good. Brisket is tender with a mesquite smoky flavor, baked beans have a hint of hickory that is unique to any baked beans I’ve ever eaten.
