Don’t expect to come here to for excellent service or a cute ambiance. This place is a thrown together a hole in the wall but it’s got its little food treasures that are very good and most of the food is freshly made. The fajita tacos taste quite authentic and delicious. I was not a fan of the pastor meat, almost like the taste and texture were off which is a shame because I do love pastor.
This is the best Mexican restaurant I've found since moving back to Austin. The food is great and the prices are reasonable.
Typical Mexican menu. The restaurant was clean, the service possible. The food had way too much cheese sauce on everything (Enchilada dinner). I could barely taste the flavours of the enchilada and the rice.
I will come back once more to try other entrees without the cheese sauce.
Best deal on breakfast tacos in the area. Three ginormous tacos for four bucks or something like that. It's a feast that will carry you through to at least mid afternoon if not all the way to dinner.
We were back in Austin for several days and couldn't pass up our favorite Taquiera. Strictly working class decor and ambiance. Few suits and high heels, thank the lord.
Great breakfast tacos. We ordered the migs plate. It was so awesome we went back 2 days later for a repeat.
Huge portions. Great prices. Cold beer, too.
