Great food that is made when you order it, so it does take some time. I don't really know why folks are complaining about the prices, because you can't find inexpensive Cajun food anywhere. Notice all the bad reviews have to admit the food was good. In the end, that's all that really matters.
This place was so delicious. We were greeted with such warm smiles. The food was good for the soul and we will definitely be back.
Excellent gumbo, mouth watering etoufee and wonderful owners. This is definitely going to be the place we go to fill our Cajun void. We've tried every other "Authentic Cajun" spot in town but nothing has had quite the same soulful taste and feel. Should have gotten a to go gumbo as well.
A hole in the wall that I'll visit again and again. The food was tasty and fairly priced. Good selection, friendly service and don't to grab some mini pies on the way out. One of the few places where you can find decent buttermilk pie. They had many other flavors to choose from. Looking forward to my next visit.
red beans and rice were wonderful. the french bread is made from scratch. The baker even sat down with me and reminisced about Louisiana with me. It was a slow time of day. He makes his pies from scratch also. The buttermilk pie was great.
