First Watch - Walden

The staff is so friendly here. Enjoyed the awesome lemon curd pancakes and coffee. No waiting when we arrived and food came quickly. Oh, and the syrup was served nice and warm. Great experience!

I came here twice, just to try and like it better than the first time (which I really disliked), and it was...better, but still not great.

The first time I stopped by was a year prior, with a co-worker I sort of dislike, so I blamed the bad experience on the company I was with. However, the sticky floor and mediocre food weren’t the co-workers fault.

My wife wanted to stop here for breakfast recently and I figured since the company was better, I would give it a shot. The floor wasn’t sticky this time, the service was a little better, it was very crowded and noisy, but the food...still just mediocre. It was good, it great and a little pricey for just being “good”.

The service was much better than the food, so I’m giving it 3 stars, but the food needs improvement, lacking flavor and being bland. Maybe just what I ordered, but just my opinion.

This place is a gem! Great breakfast with lots of options to choose from. Gluten free toast for free upon request too which is great! Loved the potatoes... they were so flavorful. I got the chili chorizo omelette with potatoes instead of greens and it was so good! Good sized portions. Priced perfectly for what you get with my plate costing $10. Coffee was served immediately when I sat and they left a carafe which I always love so that I could easily refill my coffee. Very attentive and friendly waitstaff. Loved the feel of the restaurant too. Was very clean and nicely decorated. Family friendly. I didn’t get the best photos, but the food speaks for itself. Will definitely be back to try the lunch!

Delicious food and great service. Enjoyed a wonderful family breakfast on their patio. They had an hour wait so we sat out there and still received prompt service. We will be back. Keep up the great work!

What an amazing place. My mom and I ate here today for the first time and I just have to say right on!! Great food, great service Melanie was amazing and what we payed was more than perfect for our budget. We will return and will definitely bring friends. Finally a place better than all the rest.
