Que sabroso!
Located at the Pond Springs Food Court (the larger section). My first foray into Venezuelan cuisine. Today, we tried the cachapas de queso y carne mechada con la bebida/drink papelon con limón (press cane sugar, ginger, lime, and water). What a refreshing drink on a hot and humid Texas spring day.
Ingelbert suggested tequeños (fried breaded cheese stick or a spear of bread dough with queso blanco stuffed in the middle). Nom nom nom.
Great food, great service, the joy of eating outside at a food truck with a covered dining area.
I highly recommend you visit and try this amazing food. We're planning our return to try all the other yummy items.
So delicious! Authentic and homemade Venezuelan food with a great variety of arepas, empanadas, burgers, and many more yummy treats. We ordered two arepas and two empanadas and they were so fresh and tasty. Super friendly service too. Coming back soon!
Craving the comfort that is stuffed inside an Arepa? Look no further than Los Panas!
Snagged myself a pabellon arepa and Guyaba Jugo Naturales. Both were perfection! The arepa was stuffed full and the combination of the sweetness of the plantain the funkiness of the cheese, the beans and the sauce hits all the right notes.
Not sure why there are negative comments about the staff? They were extremely friendly!
Ask for the masa to be fried so that it is a bit less gummy. Grab a side of plantains as my only critique is that I wish I had more!
I can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu! Got my eye on the Patecon!
