The food was so good!! No matter what your diet preference maybe they have an option for you. I had the garden plate with spicy teriyaki tofu and topped it off with the peanut soy sauce and it was the perfect combination. The almond ginger was also tasty and would be a great choice too. Nice quiet atmosphere no patio at the Georgetown location.
Left here feeling great! The customer service was incredible and the food delicious. We loved how healthy and good it was. The menu can be tricky to maneuver if you haven't been here before, but they were VERY patient with us & EXTREMELY helpful. If we lived here, I do believe this is a place we would frequent for lunch. Perfectly balanced, great tasting, & you leave feeling full but not overstuffed.
Nancy's Sky Garden is a unique find on top of a building across the street from The Monument Cafe in Georgetown, TX. We were looking for restaurants that had healthier food options on their menu. This place did not disappoint. It was a nice day so we were able to sit on the rooftop and enjoy the view of the square.
It is really an amazing menu. Soups include lentil, carrot, cashewnut and healing cabbage. Then they have Garden Plates which offer colorful veggies with your choice of protein. They also have what is called the Trio Plate which is similar to the Garden Plate but you have your choice of rice, sweet potato noodle or baked sweet potato that you can add to it.
It is nice to see that there are places out there that are becoming more health conscious in a good way. We definitely will be back.
The only downside was finding the restaurant once you get into the building. There is no real signage and if you didn't have some idea that it was on top of the building, you might think you are in the wrong place. Find the elevator and go to the top...then you will be there!
The food was very good. Such a weird location but once past that the food was great for lunch. I had the Garden with spicy tuna and my wife had the garden with tuna. The tuna is non mayo based. Very healthy portions and healthy food and not at astronomical prices.
I love the mix of fresh seasonal food, combining sweet with savory, mild with spicy. Always leave with a full stomach and a cleansed palate. Check out the spicy mango chicken with sweet potato noodles!
