Very friendly and knowledgeable server Patrick. The food was really good. There were so many yummy selections on their menu that I must try. Looking forward to going back.
Great food, casual atmosphere, great staff. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Gtown. The menu has a wide variety of seafood and bayou classics common to Texas and Louisiana. Check out their board as the chefs always have great specials. My wife loves the tacos which can be grilled, fried, blackened fish or shrimp. They have excellent salads and healthy sides as well. They always have a wide variety of fresh oysters, which can be ordered raw or grilled. I like the blackened oysters on a po boy or on a salad. They work well with parties from one at the bar to group of 6 or 8. Great gumbo!
The manager served us our drinks and later I saw him cleaning tables. We started with salad for me and Sky had crab bisque. We then ordered a dozen oysters, they were so delicious. Fortunately we had a friendly and processional server, Chris, it didn’t hurt he was easy on the eyes. The restaurant was very elegant. We then ate seafood meals, which were delicious. I started with a hurricane.,and then vodka sour. The bread pudding was dessert and it was just like mom used to make.. We had a great time! We will be back.
Been here several times and honestly they do a really good job and making fish if you're going here you will not find a steak here but they do sell hamburgers that I heard are supposed to be pretty good shockingly. all the fish the crab etc. is delicious. the salads are really good so just go there and tell them what you want how you want it and they will make it.
It was our first time to try this restaurant and after seeing its high number of reviews on Google we decided to give it a try and gladly and lived up to the hype. Being our first time they gave us a sample of their signature oyster nachos as well as a sampling of all of their soups and bisques. Almost everything in that restaurant is made in-house and the quality and flavor reflect that.
I had a half dozen blue point oysters which were fresh and full of flavor perfect amount of saltiness after the meal I had their grilled red snapper with asparagus and new potatoes add as a shrimp topping and it is absolutely tasty. Light and flaky grilled to perfection. Happy to say we have now found a new favorite seafood restaurant close to home.
