Mel's Lone Star Lanes

This multi-faceted facility offers bowling and an arcade plus an adult beverage bar. Parking is adequate out front and you can enter the venue via either the bar or the bowling entrance. Signage is somewhat hard to spot off of the main road, however. We enjoyed a couple games of bowling and had kids in tow. They have excellent facilities for children's bowling, and the kids had a great time. So did the adults! Lots of snacks are available, as well as adult beverages. The arcade has a wide variety of arcade games for those inclined. Restrooms are available and were kept in good order. Of course, you can rent shoes and bowling balls are provided. Overall, we had a very good time and I can recommend this as a great place for some indoor fun.

Came down to Mel's for State Tournament this year and I was able to get down here a day early to get a little practice in. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The 10 dollar all you can bowl special and the number of beers on tap at CJ's made for good practice and a day off. As far as the Tournament I didn't shoot what I wanted to but who really does ;) This is was one of the better administrated tournaments that I have seen

Thanks for teaching me to bowl. This place is awesome! They are welcoming of all people and they have great prices and nice customers and staff.

Poor server was the only one on the floor and they were busy. The manager just walked around looking. Server was nice and did the beat he could. Management needs to step their game up

What a wonderful place. The staff was pleasant the prices were good and they even had a band playing! I would recommend to all!
